Amy Somes

Amy Somes is the founder of FIFI along with Nola Hodgson. Amy was with Perpetual Investments from 1991 until her retirement from the industry in December 2008. At Perpetual, Amy was a senior equities analyst and portfolio manager in the equities area of the fund management business and a core decision maker in the fund which manages over $20bn in equities today. Prior to joining Perpetual Amy worked for a year in audit with KPMG in their Perth office. Amy is married with 2 girls.



Moira Daw

Moira Daw recently joined AME Mineral Economics, a global specialist in commodity research, to manage the research team. Moira joined AME after spending 10 years in equities research with Credit Suisse most recently as a Director in the Small Caps Research team. Her other career positions include roles in investment banking, professional accounting, industry and academia with time spent in London and Hong Kong. She is married with three children.

Finola Burke recently launched a consultancy business, Media Forecasters Pty Limited, providing forecasting services, insights and advice to media companies. Prior to this, Finola spent almost nine years as an equities analyst focused on the Australian media sector with long stints at Credit Suisse Equities Australia, where she held the position of director, and BNP Paribas. Her experience and familiarity with the media sector is also drawn from over a decade as a finance journalist covering the media sector. Finola is married with twin sons.



Jacqui Fernley

Jacqui Fernley has 15 years' equities experience with both buy- and sell-side experience. She is currently a senior research analyst at Wilson HTM having joined there from Magellan Financial Group where she was a portfolio manager. She has held previous senior roles at Suncorp Investment Management, Credit Suisse and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Jacqui has a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws, completed the Chartered Financial Analyst programme in 2001 and is a lecturer/assessor for FINSIA on equity analysis. Jacqui is married with two children.

Jenny Owen has been with Citigroup Equities Research in Sydney since 2000 and is a Director in the Research team. She covers a number of Consumer Discretionary sectors. Prior to joining Citigroup, Jenny worked for Macquarie Equities in the same research capacity, and in total has spent twelve years as an equity analyst. Prior to moving into stockbroking, Jenny held a number of Finance roles within financial institutions. Jenny is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business and a MBA. Jenny is married with two sons.



Andrea Fletcher

Andrea Fletcher is a Director at Citigroup Global Markets. Her role spans both that of Equity Sales with a portfolio of institutional clients to whom she provides investment advice and a more strategic role heading up the Account Management team for Citigroup in Australia and New Zealand. Andrea has worked in Investment Banking in London and then Sydney for the last 14 years and has spent the last 9 years working for Citigroup. She is married with two young daughters.

Karen Towle is a senior analyst and portfolio manager at Challenger Financial Services Group, where she specialises in the retail, beverages and media industries. Prior to Challenger she held similar roles at Deutsche Asset Management and Perpetual, and in total has spent 16 years in the funds management industry. Karen is a Chartered Financial Analyst. She is married with two sons.



Jolanta Masojada

Jolanta Masojada has been a Director of Credit Suisse since 1998, and is the global product head for the media research team. Previously she worked as a financial analyst at Deutsche Bank and Macquarie Bank, beginning her career in financial markets in New York. Jolanta is married with a daughter and a son.

Maryanne Drewe is engaged as an Equities analyst with Perpetual.She has been in this role for the past five years covering a range of both big and small companies reflecting a varied commerical and professional work experience prior to joining Perpetual.



Lisa Shand

Lisa Shand is currently an Executive Director at RBS Equities Australia where she has research sales responsibilities. Her Japanese speaking ability allowed her to embark on a 20 year career in the market beginning with a role at Nomura Australia where she was charged with looking after a Japanese institutional client base. In addition to providing service to a number of Australian institutional fund managers currently, Lisa is also Head of Client Account Management and sits on the RBS Equities Management Committee. She has two young daughters with her partner.

Allison McMartin is an Executive Director at ANZ Institutional Bank specialising in the Telecom, Media and Entertainment sector. Allison was previously at HSBC Australia and Nab in a banking career spanning 20 years. In addition to TME, Allison has covered numerous client segments including Multinationals, Industrials, Resources, Consumer Services and Financial Institutions. Allison has a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters of Business (Finance). Allison has one young Son.
